Parallels Virtual Appliances

Virtual appliances are a new approach to software development and distribution for a wide array of users, including software developers, IT professionals, QA engineers, and individual consumers. Virtual appliances can be created for a wide variety of software needs ranging from traditional desktop applications to complicated IT-infrastructures.

Parallels Virtual Appliances present many benefits to IT administrators and end-users, including:
  • Intel VT technology support – increased performance and capabilities.

  • Flexible software migration – once built, the PVA is ready to use on almost any platform, including Windows, Linux, and Mac OS X.

  • Use any application from any OS – Appliances can be built on any of the supported guest operating systems, allowing users to access applications normally not supported by their primary OS.
